Release Notes for NECP-X

This is the release version of NECP-X providing N/TH and depletion functionality of high-fidelity neutronics calculation.

The features of this version:

·        One-step whole core calculations without homogenization;

·        Detailed geometry description: sub-pin level, CSG pin, baffle, barrel, pad, vessel;

·        69-group structure with extended resonance energy range;

·        Global-Local resonance method;

·        2D/1D transport method, supports reactangular and hexagonal modular;

·        Large-scale parallel ability;

·        Two execution mode (plot and neutronics calculation);

·        Steady state calculations;

·        N/TH coupling calculations;

·        Depletion and activition calculations;

·        Cycle simulation.

Note for this release:

·        Need to define ‘water’ in the material block when adding baffle, barrel, pad and vessel;

·        This release version doesn't support the plate-fuel calculation, which is developed in development version.

·        This release version only supports cylinder-pin for assembly with grid for assembly with grid and rectangular-pin for assembly with grid is developed in development version.

Note for trial version:

·        Plot in ppm mode is not open;

·        CSG modeling function is not open;

·        Hexagonal modeling function is not open;

·        Transient calculation function is not open;

·        API is not open.
